After years of internal conflicts and a halt in sporting activities, the wings of the Royal Moroccan Federation of Light and Sport Aviation have taken flight once again. This long-awaited revival comes thanks to the initiative of several national clubs and passionate individuals in the aviation sports community. The milestone event was marked by the Federation’s Ordinary Elective General Assembly, held on Sunday, June 22, 2025, at the Ministry of National Education, Preschool, and Sports’ conference center in Rabat.

The assembly took place in a spirit of unity and shared ambition, with the presence of a representative from the supervisory ministry and a delegate from the National Olympic Committee. Participating clubs expressed strong consensus and a desire to usher in a new chapter filled with activities, achievements, and structured development.
The agenda included verification of the legal quorum, the election of the new board members, discussion of the upcoming annual work plan, and the presentation of a financial strategy to support a successful sporting season—focused on competitions, training, capacity-building, and institutional reform.
Nine clubs met the eligibility criteria for voting and attended the event:
Royal Paragliding Club
Beni Mellal Parachuting Club
Legzira Free Flight Club
Al Haouz Free Flight Club
Akarkour Falcons Club
Akarkour Free Flight Club
Atlas Eagles Delta Club
Jorf Atlas Tichoukt Boulemane Club

Following the approval of all agenda items, a new executive board was elected. It brings together a distinguished group of Moroccan professionals, including doctors, engineers, educators, and specialists in paragliding sports.
The new board is headed by Mr. Anouar Amari as President, with Chafik Boukraâ as First Vice President and Mohammed Mehdi Chadi as Second Vice President.
Hassan Halil was elected General Secretary, with Noureddine Raji as Deputy.
Kalthoum Jamali became Treasurer, assisted by El Mahjoub Id Abdelmalek as Deputy Treasurer.
The board also includes eight advisors: Samir Annait, Omar Benyazi, Idriss Abjelini, Abdelilah Aït Rais, Abderrahmane Kaddouri, Iman Hninioui, Souhail El Mejhed, and Noureddine Hninioui.
During the assembly, the membership fee structure was reviewed for all sports categories, with a clear commitment to reignite national and international events, promote aviation sports, and strengthen youth training and education.
